I purchased these Bose 601 Series II speakers at an estate sale where they were being used in the garage for many years. They were very dirty and all the woofer surrounds were dry rotted. Once I got them home, I tested the speakers and every single speaker worked and sounded amazing. Once I determined that the speakers were all good to go, I spent about 5 hours taking the speakers apart and doing my best to clean the cloth grill covers, the inside areas around the speakers themselves and the wood veneer. I then refoamed the woofers. The cabinets look near mint. The veneer looks great with no scratches or damage and no bubbling. Please see the pictures. The only issue with these awesome speakers is that the tweeters have some small tears in them but they still sound great. I have many more photos so if you would like to see them just ask. I am offering local pick up. I will also ship to you and do my best to package it but it is a 45lb vintage speaker and I will not be responsible for shipping damages. It will be packaged it two separate boxes so I will have to send you an invoice of the shipping cost. If you would like shipping insurance I would highly recommend it. I will also be glad to take it to a local shipper if you would like to arrange it. These are being sold as is with no returns. You are also welcome to come see/test them out if you are local.
