This is a very nice UNRESTORED Stoner Univendor De-Luxe Theater model candy machine in the original factory walnut finish. This is the FULL SIZE 8 Slot univendor, not a Junior model.
Based on the serial number, this is a 1955 machine. And its in excellent condition for its age. West coast machine, so its nice and solid. No visible rust anywhere that I can see. Definitely no rust through. No dents or major scrapes on the exterior either. All panels are nice and solid and the painted walnut finish still presents very well. A good wash and a coat of wax and this machine would look stunning. The main latch works, but there is no lock cylinder on the side of the unit. (Not uncommon, repros are available.) Includes repro mirror. The glass 8 candy selection window is unbroken. Fresh candy sign is present, but not bolted to the front of the machine. The 8 Bakelite candy selection pull knobs are still present. All of the inner shelves appear to be present, and working. I have never filled or operated the machine. It was purchased locally 15+ years ago with the intention of freshening it up and replacing the mirror and the storage door and using it as is. Sadly, I never got around to doing anything with it and its nice enough that someone needs to be able to enjoy it. Its been stored inside, in dry storage in Arizona since I purchased it. Everything appears to be present and working inside the machine. The only part that I am aware is missing is the front storage compartment door. (I believe repros are available). The upper part of the machine can be removed from the base to make transportation easier as well.
Please view the photos carefully before purchasing. What you see is what you get. It is DUSTY in the photos, but you can see clearly that its in excellent condition. Please ask any questions you may have. This is a large and heavy item and is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Its in excellent unrestored condition, and would be an easy restoration as it sits, or it would be an excellent and very solid machine to use if you wanted a totally custom machine.
