I don\'t think that this piece has ever been used, for it looks as if it is in almost new condition. Cannot find any signs of use that one would expectto see with a nutcracker, especially a wooden one. Carved with a largemustache, given eyes that look off to the side and sporting a leather brimfor the carved cowboy hat.The piece stands app. 5.5\" high when the screw is fully wound, thus givingit its shortest height. The opening for the nuts measures 1.5\"x 1.25\". Great vintage piece.
