Up for sale today is a vintage Flying Balsa Wood Scale Model Lockhead P38 Lightning. It is made by Comet. It features a 34 inch wingspan and uses rubber bands to fly. Original box. Looks complete with instructions. This is new old stock. Box measures 21 by 6 inches. Box has tears repaired with tape at the ends, see pictures. Rubber bands are broken from age. Probably from the mid 1950s.
