This vintage hand-tooled snaffle bit was made by Eduardo Garcia. Eduardo worked in San Ysidro California and passed on in 2009. The center of this set is the snaffle bit which has been beautifully hand tooled and shows age. The attached reins and braided horse hair show little sign of use.

The measurement of the snaffle bit from the edge of the circle on one side to the edge of the circle on the opposite side is 12\" when the bit is streched out straight. The diameter of the circles is 3 1/2\". The space between the circles is 5 1/8\". The length of the reins from the end of the leather at the ends to where they attach is 8 feet 4 inches. This set is in excellent condition.
