A gorgeous Early\'s of Witney pure new wool point blanket made in England for the B. Altman & Co. department store in New York. The label has the royal warrant of appointment from Queen Elizabeth which means Early\'s of Witney supplied goods to the royal family.

Condition:Very good vintage condition. There are a few minor flaws that are primarily only noticeable upon close inspection and do little to detract from the overall beauty of the blanket. Please see detail photos to better understand the flaws.The flaws are as follows:- There are approx. three faint stains on the blanket (largest 4\" x 6\")- There is a small stain that is not as faint as the others. It measures approx. 1/4\" x 1/4\".-The thread used to create the blanket stitch binding has a few breaks.
