Vintage Fostoria Electric Popcorn Popper Model 202A 1960's 2 QTS.: $21.49
I have a Vintage Fostoria Electric Popcorn Popper, Model 202A, manufactured by McGraw Electric Co., Bersted Mfg. Div. in Boonville, Missouri, that my family used in the 1960's. It is 400 Watts and makes great popcorn the old-fashioned way. In fact, to test it, I just made a batch last night. It has the heating base and the popcorn popper insert, both aluminum. They have some minor oil stained areas. The glass top has no chips or cracks and is in very good condition. It also has the original cloth-covered cord that is in super condition. Please take a look at all the pictures. To make a batch of popcorn, you use 2 tablespoons of oil and 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels. I put 1 or 2 kernels into the oil while it is heating and add the rest when they pop, so that I know the oil is hot enough. In just a few minutes the popper is full. It is so much healthier than microwave popcorn and tastes delicious! Thanks for looking.
