This is a vintage aneroid barometer. Made in Germany. Sold by Frank F. Watrous of New York.

The barometer has an overall diameter 4 1/8\", with a depth of 1 3/4\". The case is crafted from brass with a beveled glass crystal. The case is worn having developed a patina over time. It is free of any cracks, splits or dents. The pointer is set my moving the spokes similar to a ship\'s wheel. The crystal is free of any cracks or chips.

The face reads, \"Copyrighted Frank F. Watrous - New York. Germany\" It shows the air pressure delineated in inches from 28.5 to 30.5. The rear adjustment screw moves with ease. The barometer is in fine working order. It is currently adjusted for 27 feet above sea level. It has been keeping the correct barometric pressure for the last week. Additionally, the piece was pressure tested it in a plastic bag, the pointer responded correctly.
