Up for offer is a 1974 Bug Stinger. It is totally restored to a perfectionist level. There is one issue with this kart. It was in a race andhit another kart\'s rear wheel which bent the right front axle back and slightly up. As you can see in the pictures the right front wheel is about 3/4 of an inch off the ground when the left front wheel is planted. The axle is bent back about the same amount as it isupthough it\'shard to see in the pictures. I\'m sure it could be straightened without too much difficulty but as I am moving I don\'t have time to work on it. The rear axle also got slightly bent from someone hitting the right rear tire so it should be replaced. There is no damage to the kart frame other than that. The rest of the frame is perfectly straight and was unaffected by the incident. If someone were to fix the axles they would havea prettysweet kart.All the parts on this kart are awesome and are in perfect condition unless otherwise stated. All new aircraft hardware, all show chrome components, mirror polished floor pan, original Bug Trophy steering wheel (has tear in rubber on bottom side), original Bug Trophy wheels & hubs (hubs have been lathe turned & trued, front hubs have new NTN bearings installed), Dunlop SL3 tires with plenty of tread left, new exact reproduction Bug upholstery and new old stock WASP fiberglassseat (very comfortable)with custom lathe turned mounting spacers, stainless socket cap seat & nerf bar mount bolts w/ custom stainless washers, chrome Sealmaster bearing cassettes with new axle bearings, billet axle clamps, new old stock Hurst Airheart 175 caliper, master cylinder and drilled cast iron disk. Brakes have all newinternals and are ready to hook up lines and bleed. Caliper has modern Brake Man pads which are the best and last forever.The number plate had an issue with the clear coat on the right side and I didn\'t have time to fix it but it\'s an easy job. The powder coat is really nice but there are a couple spots on the rear bumper that have scratches from leaning against the wall in storage.
