Vintage handcarved, handmade wooden desk top box. This is a lovely wooden box that has fine detail to it. It is handcarved and has a lid with a latch. The latch is a lift latch and the lid will raise up. The latch and hinges are brass and work and are intact. There are several compartments under the lid to place objects inside. The top of the lid has a lovely floral design carved in it. Each corner of the box has brass decor One is loose but intact. The base is approx. 10" x 6" x 2.75" tall. There are no nicks or gouges to the wood. It is very nice and clean. The bottom of the box does have some scuffing on it from being moved around. Expect normal wear from age, use and storage.
