Hello, This is a 35-36" Vintage Ideal brown haired Patti Playpal doll needing to be restrung. She has long brown hair and bangs.Her hair will need be styled. Her tagged dress has no rips, tears or stains that I could find but there is only one pink ribbon at the right side of the waist, the other appears to be missing. Ihave run out of room for pictures, please request any more specific pictures as needed.
Her head and legs are detached. The pieces that go inside to reattach are present. She has long brown hair and bangs and thick, full eyelashes. Her face is very dirty and although I have spent time cleaning her she will still need a good cleaning of the face. Picture #11 shows a close up of her face. There is two tiny white surface little lines, like tiny surface scratches on the left side of her face.
Her hair appears a good length, but there is a few different pieces of length at the bottom and because of her age I cannot say for sure if it hasn't ever been cut. Picture #5 shows the length in the back. I saw one hair plug missing and that is right above her left ear.
Her arms have faded to a pale color. She has one split/crack and it is right in the front, under her right shoulder, please see picture #10.She has some dirt on the body that most of it has cleaned off. There is no damage to her fingers and no other cracks or splits that I could find to her body. She is fully marked with the Ideal markings.
Her dress is in exceptional condition and I cannot find any damage except for there is only one pink ribbon at the side of the waist. It has the Patti Playpal tag at the front waist. It is pink with lace trim and collar. It buttons in the back and pink floral appliques attached to the bodice of the dress. The bottom of the dress is white. It has an attached slip, shown in picture #7 that should be pressed.
I do not see any rips, tears or stains to note. The attached slip and collar should be pressed and maybe the sash as well, although the sash at the waist does look pretty straight.
Black Mary Jane shoes were with her but the front of the shoe has a split all along the front edge. There are no socks. Also included are white underpants that I believe are original.She is detached in her head and legs.
This is a 55 year old, played with and used doll.
