You are offerding on a vintage heavy duty, industrial-strength Sears Kenmore sewing machine used by a professional seamstress for several decades.
This early 1960s sewing machine is all metal and is very heavy. It appears to be in excellent operational condition - the included motor and foot pedal work, the thread mechanism works well and everything appears to be complete. All the small knobs and features have not been tested and due to age this item must be sold AS IS with no returns.
While the \"portable\" lightweight sewing machine models are very common, these 50+ year old tabletop models are much harder to find in working condition. This machine should last you decades more.
This listing includes the complete package - sewing machine, cabinet, foot pedal, spools, a small instruction page, and some other miscellaneous accessories original to the machine. The machine (and especially the wooden cabinet) certainly show signs of usage over its first 50 years of service.
A similar industrial model with stand sold for $400 back in April: prefer local pickup (Long Island, NY) but am fine with shipping it. You will pay actual shipping charges which may be more the listed charges. As this machine is very heavy I will be charging you actual retail shipping from USPS/UPS/FedEx (your choice which service). You have the option for me to ship everything or everything but the table. Please note that this is not a tabletop model - the machine will likely not function if placed directly on a table as there is no bottom enclosure on the cabinet sewing machines.
This is a beautiful machine that hearkens back to the era where products were built to run well for decades, unlike today\'s technology designed to be discarded after a few years.
