Offered for sale is aVintage Little Brown Jug Porcelain Lined Thermos Water Cooler manufactured by Hemp & Co., Inc. in the 1950s.
Measures approximately 8.5\" diameter at the base x 13\" high, with the handle raised (11.5\" high with it lowered).In gently used condition, with some scuffs on the metal surface and some shelf wear on the bottom. The porcelain interior is in very nice vintage condition.
This includes the rubber cover for the pour spout, the snap-tite seal and the aluminum cover/drinking cup. The rubber grip on the handle is also in very good condition.
This is the only jug of this style we\'ve seen with the pour spot at the top. All of the other two-toned brown jugs we\'ve come across have a spigot at the bottom.
