Vintage Metlox MFG Company Carriage Planter!
Great Emerald green color.
The metal base is hinged by the pulls to put on a horse.
Is two pieces:
-the metal brass or brass colored base.
-the ceramic carrriage or buggy planter part.
Very detailed victorian design.
Measures:
- ceramic planter: 10.5\" long by tail fin 4 3/4\" wide, while narrowest part is 3\"
-metal base: 17\" long by 5 3/4 at rear wheels, and at handles or horse pull area is 2 3/4\"
- together item is 17\" long 5 3/4\" wide and a hair over 5 1/4\" tall!!
This has some reminant of the metlox sticker on bottom, but due to cleaning.... most of it is gone....
NOTICE-- In the picture you can see that the brass has a mark of discoloration as comes with age, I also noticed an very small chip on the driver side rear part--- THESE ARE IN PICTURES---
