This vintage 1960\'s collectible grandfather clock was made by Moss Lamp Co, Moss Manufacturing Co. in California. This company made clocks, lamps and furniture out of plexiglass. This clock is lighted by fluorescent lamps, has a switch on the left hand side. It has the golden ball with the slanted plexiglass panels surrounding it. The clock works was made in Germany. The clock will work but will stop after a few hours or a day or two.(right now it has been running for many days). It needs to be cleaned and oiled by a clock maker. It has a piece on the bottom that has broken off while in storage, it can be re glued and is hardly noticeable. It measures 66\" tall x 13 1/2\" wide x 10 1/2\" deep. If you have some of the really nice Moss lamps this would really go well with them. For a little bit of history of this clock, It came from the old Chap\'s amusement Park in Decatur, Illinois. Chap\'s had a furniture store on the property, US Rt. 51, either at the old roller rink before it opened, or next door. I was told this by a relative, who was very young at the time.
