You are offerding on a Bigelow killer trap with six inch jaw spread. These traps were made in the 1940\'s and are rarely seen today. These predate the Conibear traps which followed roughly 15 years later. I couldn\'t find any markings on this trap but didn\'t know where to look and didn\'t want to do any searching with sand paper. There is a very small hole in the trigger which I have tried to capture in my photo\'s. I don\'t know if this was done by the company or if some trapper took it upon his self to do this so bait could be attached. This trap is still very powerful and could fill the bill as a collectors item or as a deterrent to those garden robbing ground hogs!. This trap meets with all E Bay requirements. If you are looking to add one of these traps to your collection now is the time!. These smaller Bigelow traps are becoming harder to find with each passing year.
