: OLD AND VINTAGE BADGE THAT CARRIES NO AUTHORITY

Here is great vintage Utah badge I just picked up. Depsite my proximity to the Eastern Utah border I come across few badges from across the order. This piece came out locally herein Western Colorado. Dates to the 1940\'s Made of die struck metal with hand stamped titles and applied brass star. I believe this one was made by the firm of Salt Lake Stamp as it exhibits qualites of other badges made by them however it is devoid of ahallmark. Measures just over 2 1/2 inches tall. Working pin on back. This one is for DEPUTY CONSTABLE SALT LAKE COUNTY UTAH number 3. Very good condition. I have collected and sold original badges for quite a while here on . lately I have found very few locally. Tempted to keep this one, however just does not quite fit in the collection. I am quite familiar with all of the fake makers, lagenbacker, walter kuhn. This one is GURANTEED ORIGINAL FOREVER. Thanks for looking.
