Vintage Postal Letter Scale Made in England Warranted Accurate with (5) Brass Weights and WoodPlatform Base

Description: This listing is fora vintage Wood and Brass Postal Letter BalanceScale with (2) Platforms: The Left one is circular and is where you placeone or more of the (5) Brass Weights, while the Right one is rectangular for the placement of the letter or package. The Brass Scale arms are embossed: \"Made in England\" and \"Warranted Accurate\". This listing includes (5) Brass Weights which stack neatly and which fit into (3) circular recesses cut into the Wood Platform of the Scale. The graduated brass weights are as follows: (1) 4 oz.; (1) 2 oz., (1) 1 oz. and (2) different shapes of 1/2 oz.= (5) total. The base of the wood platform has (4) round rubber feet.

Dimensions: the Wood & Brass scale & platform measure: 8\" wide x 4 1/2\" deep x 4\" tall; weight before shipping: 1 lb. 5 oz.

Condition:Used withminor surface wear and metal tarnish. We have not polished the brass portions of the scale and weights. The age of this scale is unknown, as it was acquired used.
