This is an interesting prepared microscope slide of a fruit fly serial section. Over 50 sections of a fly all mounted on one 2 inch by 3 inch slide. Good condition with no chips or cracks in the slide. These sections were double stained with a red and blue stain. The outer sections have lost their blue stain due to oxidation but they are still well differentiated with the red and all the inner sections are still nicely double stained. Also included in this lot is a second slide with three serial sections of what I believe is a nematode of some sort.
