For sale is a Vintage Russian 15 String Zither in a verygood condition without any chips or cracks. This lacquered wood instrument hasa painted motif of a Santa and couple in a snow sled being pulled by horses (Toika). Without an artist signature this zither is hard to date, but this style was popular in 50\'s and 60\'s. I am not an expert in this area, so this is just an guess based on myresearch.

This superb wood string instrumentmeasures 9 1/2\" long x 5\" wide x 1 1/2\" deep. All 15 strings are tight and the zither makesa beautiful sound.

The photos do not do the colors justice...this piece is very colorful and bright.
