Here for your consideration is a vintage Singer 221 sewing machine from my own collection. This machine, AH116677, is from around 1947 - 48. This machine is clean and is a good working machine - I have sewn a seam and left the bobbin thread attached, as seen in photos. The light works. I have taken my photos in good natural light, so you can see as best as I can show you exactly what the machine\'s condition is. There are various scratches on the bed, and a mark from an attachment to the right of the needle plate. The type 2 case and tray are in good condition, both latches work - I have replaced the old handle with a new leather one, (I\'ll send along the original handle). This listing includes all you see pictured, the 221 machine, the foot pedal, the carrying case, a total of 7 bobbins, the attachments shown, the 221 manual, a book on 221s, needles, and a new tube of machine lube. Neither the machine nor the carrying case have a musty odor. Also, I live in a smoke-free home, no pets.
I will package this machine very carefully! I have an extremely sturdy box. I will pack it cushioned well, and have the machine in a plastic bag. I will only be shipping to the contiguous 48 states. Thank you for viewing my listing!
