This simple, colonial style footed porringer or saucer server bowl is made o sterling silver and dark wood.

The footed bowl is 4 5/8” across the spout-to-opposite side width and 4” from handle to opposite side.

The turned wood handle is 4 ¾” long.

The bowl has a thick turned-under rim and tapering spout.

The foot has graduating rings.

The marks on the bottom are a lion resting on an “E” in a shield, Sterling, 1600 and hand-engraved beneath is 153-0170-238.
The E denotes silver by Ellmore Silver Company which was absorbed into the Frank Whiting Co. in 1960.

The condition is very fine: there is a ½” very very shallow line under the spout and a smaller shallow indents to the left of a 1/2\" scratch on the opposite side.
There are no breaks or cracks.

We have not polished the silver.

Total weight is approximately 110 grams.
