Vintage The Buescher Bass Saxophone, Serial number 145,106 Silver/Gold Plated?:
$5750.00

Who wants to be the BIG GUY on the block, or the chief Kahuna? I am a Woodwind collector for over the past 40 years has accumulated over (and still have) 1,500 mostly vintage instruments - With luck, I\'ll be 82 next week. First, I thought, I aint going to go unless I can take my \"goodies\" with me, I\'ve finally accepted the fact - no, that aint going to work either, so now I am slowly \"Selling Out\"!
This \"The Buescher\" Bass is the best of the Basses I had, but having too many instruments, has also resulted in some headaches. ABass sax plays in the key of Bb one full octave lower than a Tenor sax and is the exact same fingering, so if you play Tenor, this will be no problem, however be ready to get a lot more hand clapping and cheers from the audience. The instrument has no mouthpiece, no case, and definately needs an overhaul/repad. There are 2 exceptionally small dents, but for it\'s vintage it\'s in Great shape (in my opinion), last picture, shows dent. Sax appears to us, to be both silver and gold plated, serial number is 145,106. Most people don\'t realize, that Selmer Basses, are now listing for over $30,000.00 - no this is not a mistake! In addition, I truthfully believe, Selmer Baritones, & Basses don\'t exceed the tone and quality of the Bueschers. Who knows, you might even own it depending on what you offer - if you can do the restoration itself, it shouldn\'t be all that much of a cost, sax is being sold as in, no return. We are asking a Buy It Now price of only $5,750.00 for this vintage horn, or you can make a very fair close offer, which we will consider - but why take the chance, Buy It Now, and you know it\'s yours. Please enlarge all the pictures to full screen size, as well as zoom in to see details of the sax, if you need more pictures, please email and let me know what picture/pictures you would like, I will either add them to the listing or send them to you through s messages. Ask any and all questions you may have on the sax, or give Ron a call 1 (313) 725-0117, he would be glad to talk \"woodwinds\" with you. U.S. Shipping will be UPS flat rate of $245.00 - sax will need a box fabricated for it for shipping, once the sax is paid for, the box will take 2-4 business days to order and have made, after it is done it will be shipped the same day (if it is a business day) or the next business day available, shipping cost includes box (approximately $60.00), lots of bubble wrap, lots, and lots of packing peanuts, full selling cost insurance, and tracking number), Bass Sax can also be picked up in Detroit, Michigan to save money if you are within a close driving distance. International buyers, please email if you are interested in buying and having this sax shipped, it would be costly, but well worth it in the end.
