Vintage Used Imperial Prov. Boy Scout 4 Blade Pocket Knife BSA Logo “Be Prepared”

This is a used, vintage Imperial Boy Scout pocket knife with 4 blades. The tang of the main blade has “Imperial PROV. USA”. Imperial has a crown over the lower case “i”. The blades and their length are:
Main - 2 5/8 inches.
Awl - 1 5/8 inches.
Can Opener - 1 1/8 inches.
Bottle Opener / Screw Driver - 1 3/16.Closed, the knife measures about 3 3/4 inches, not including the shackle, which adds about 3/8 inch.

The handle is red brown and one side has an off white with brown tone BSA logo molded into it. The logo has “BE PREPARED” at the bottom. The end opposite the main blade has a shackle which rotates. There are 3 rivets on each side holding the handle to the liner. There is a notch on the edge of the handle by the awl to aid in opening it.

For its age and having been used, the knife is in good shape. It has been in storage for a long time. The blades have a good snap. The shackle and the handle are firmly attached; however, I noticed some defects:The shackle and blades have a slight wiggle.All the metal parts have scratches, pits and corrosion and the brass is tarnished.The plastic has wear including light scratches.There is debris in most crevices.
