Rare Vintage VegaPhone! Circa 20s!

This is a fantastic example of quality at it\'s best. This is a great vintage VegaPhone Professional! If you follow vintage banjos then you know this model!!

The banjo comes with the original case and outside of the head I am told it is original. I have to plead a little ignorance because I acquired this an old timer, and don\'t know it\'s history.  A piece of white binding along the bottom part of the neck has been replaced. Some high notes beyond 12th fret don\'t sustain out, and I\'m told that it\'s probably because the replacement head might be the slightly wrong height. (Not quite tall enough). See picture. I\'m including the old original head for reference also, in case the new one might ever need to be changed out. 

I don\'t know any history on this piece, so I\'m listing and selling it AS IS, no returns or refunds.
