Really cute child\'s crib quilt that\'s both hand embroidered and hand quilted. Came from an Iowa estate sale.

It\'s a nursery rhyme theme and most of the embroidered blocks use Ruby McKim designs so popular in the Kansas City Star, Des Moines Register and more in the 1930\'s.

Embroidery work nicely done and hand quilting is at about 7 \"up\" stitches to the inch. Can still see pencil marks made for the hand quilting so this probably has never been laundered.

Measures 39 x 59\" backing is white cotton and it has a couple faint storage soil spots

No wear on the quilt but a couple blocks do have a faint blush of storage soil - see photos.

Binding is a slightly different color pink and a softer cotton fabric than the sashing.
