Great Dramatic Signed Example of a BLACK VELVET PAINTING Wonderful Condition!

ThisPortrait of a Womanhas well definedshading that defines a reverentand inspirationaloccasion.

The picture wasmade in Columbia circa 1950\'s.The painting is clean and in Very Good Condition. The Velvet is fresh and plush, and the oil paint is complete the way the Artist intended. The light glows from the candle to highlight the woman\'s face and hand. Her eyes are wide open as if looking though something and really seeing. Her hair is dark with gray, and is done beautifully to emphasize this.The frame is Original, done in solid woodgold scroll.There isa thick wire hanger attached.There are a few spots of missing paint on the frame, which just seems to add to the beauty of the entire picture.

The Framed measurements are; 16-3/4\" x 12-3/4\". The signature is worn. If you have any questions please email me. Thank you for looking.
