I don\'t really know much about these, most of the information here is from information on the internet and not from personal knowledge please see all photos to determine for yourself
You are offerding on the exact lens you see in the photos. We are not experts or collectors so please see all photos and consider them a part of the description.
This is a vintage Bausch & Lomb Super Cinephor EF 3 Inch (76.2 mm) f 1.8 Lens. # RE6145. It also has 1 screw on sleeve or extender tube (not sure what it\'s called) and one adapter fitting that goes around the outside of the lens. You can see all three pieces in the photos. Bausch and Lomb was and is still one of the top names in optics! This lens was pulled from a working environment. It was rescued from the Historic Strand Capital Theatre in York, PA from the projection room after is was updated to a digital projector. These are used pieces so they do show some light wear in my opinion. There does not appear to be any mold or haze on or in the lens. No chips or cracks in the glass. NO dentsor cracks in the metal.Might be some very shallow, light surface scuffs, might have one tiny flea bite, like the sharpened tip of a pencil point in size, not sure. None of this should effect the picture in our opinion. The extender tube threading is good. The large adapter piece is in good used condition as well. There are meant to be 2 allen wrench set screws that hold this adapter tight around the outside of the lens, however one went missing at some point and someone replaced it with a screw. The screw is stripped and will need a little work to get it out but you are still able to get the adapter on and off the lens. Great piece. If you have a lens spanner wrench you can easily get in to clean the lens inside. We do not clean our items so that we do not damage or devalue them. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. You get all three pieces you see in the photos!
