A harp of 26 brass strings. The top 25 strings tune from C below middle C up to high F or F#. The lowest string can be tuned to G, A, or B(Bb) depending on piece played and acts as a drone. The harp is made of ambrosial maple, all hardwood throughout. Ambrosial maple is maple that has been spalted and has worm holes. It gives all the good characteristics of maple for a musical instrument with less weight. There are visible worm holes in the wood. It is finished in natural tung oil. No dyes or stains are used, the wood is the natural color. The tuning pins are antique plum brown steel taper pins. The string shoes are brass. The strings are mounted by means of steel wire toggles.The harp is 30½\" tall, 19\" deep, 10¼\" wide and weighs about 11 pounds. It comes with the tuning wrench and extra string toggles.
