Remainingbrass fittings have attractive mellow patina. Folding guard has beautifulPrussian eagle designs on both sides. Grip has no cracks or chips, wire wrap isall nice and tight. Complete with original cypher insignia in the right side.Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that retains most of the originalblack paint and has one dent on the front. Scabbard throat is absent. A classicImperial German 1889 IOD sword that will make a fine addition to yourcollection and display nicely.
