This is a almost perfect condition. Traditional hand forged, water tempered blade with MINT condition. This sword has beautiful temper line. BladeisNot bend,NOnicks or chips but has one nail catcher and light stain.NO other flaws at all!! No signatures on the tang. It has a very nice temper line you can see very well. The handle and wrapping is very nice and all original fittings.Nothingis missing. HasNo crack or split on Ray skin saya. This sword looks like it was there and it is still in excellent condition. Overall this is a very nice sword that is a great example of a WW2 Japanese Officers sword. This will still display nice and would be hard to up-grade.Cutting edge27 inc, handle 9 1/2 inc.
