• 140 to 150 MHz and from 420 to 450 MHz TX, 118 to 174 MHz 420 to 475 MHz RX.
• 32 memories that can store independent transmit and receive frequencies, PL (CTCSS) tones, etc. The transceiver can monitor the VHF and UHF bands simultaneously and performs cross-band repeat operation with a built-in duplexer.
• The control head (front panel) of the transceiver may be removed and mounted remotely (optional separation kit required). 50W on 2m, 35W on 70 cm, includes thermostatically controlled cooling fan on the rear panel. \\
• The transceiver has two external speaker jacks, one for each band. An internal speaker mixes the audio from both bands if external speakers are not used. A front-panel balance control with center detent allows you to control the audio when you are receiving both bands at the same time.
• The intensity of the LED backlighting for the display and controls can be varied manually, or automatically using a photosensor on the front panel.

ThisRadio hashad the dial lamps replaced with LED\'s and has a nice bright display.
