Z Scale Z Gauge Handmade Model Train layout in a Leather Briefcase This oval of Marklin track is fitted on a wooden base in a leather briefcase. Foam is used as the scenicking base. The layout is powered and controlled by a ZThektronics handheld 9V battery controller, with one of the best slow speed controllers in the industry. A Transformer/Controller (not included) or DCC setup (not included) can be easily plugged in to the track power jacks if desired.It is recommended that you use train cars and locomotives less than 8.5 cm in length, because of the tight radius curves used on the layout.
In addition, the locomotive should be a 4-axle or 2 truck (Bo Bo) version. Large American-style locomotives will require scenery and/or coupler modification to operate on this layout. I do not accept returns if your locomotive/train cars will not run on this layout, so ask before you purchase.The locomotive and train cars pictured are not included with the briefcase layout.Delivery form:
