Description.This listing is for a used hand-held ZIVY model 120 (cat. No. TEN-120K) tension meter. The instrument is used to accurately measure running line tension of yarns and fibers. The instrument was used by QC inspectors to monitor a medical device manufacturing process, which was shutdown a few years back.
The ZIVY tension meter is designed for one-hand operation. It features two precision ball-bearing mounted V-grooved rollers capable of measuring tension at high line running speeds. The listed meter\'s measuring range is 20 to 120 grams. Included with the instrument is a foam-fitted, hard plastic storage/carrying case and a one-page instruction sheet.
Current condition of the tension meter is excellent; both, functionally as well as cosmetically. It has always been kept in its case, and in a dry, smoke-free storage area; protected from physical and environmental harm. The instrument will require re-calibration, since the valid date period of its last calibration certification has expired.
Again, the ZIVY tension meter being offered in this sale listing is a used instrument. Pictures are of the actual item being offered, and show everything that is included with this listing. The condition of the instrument is extremely good. However, seller cannot provide any warantees on it besides accepting its return for a refund (minus shipping cost) within 14 days of receipt by buyer.
